Who are we?

Annually with more than 34 000 tonnes of supplied pig iron, ferroalloys, scrap and coal
to steel mills and foundries PROMET SLOVAKIA, s. r. o. is one of the major suppliers of basic
metallurgical and foundry raw materials in Central Europe.

Certification

ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018

We hold a quality management system certificate according to ISO 9001:2015,
an environmental management system certificate according to ISO 14001:2015
and an occupational health and safety management system certificate according to ISO 45001:2018
from the renowned certification company SGS, which we regularly renew.
Handling of goods

Methods of delivery

The goods are delivered to the client either directly from our supplier or from our warehouses
in bulk or packed in:

Goods release from the warehouse

Goods release note from our warehouse in Dolný Kubín or Čierna nad Tisou always accompanies a certificate of weight
signed by the person, who carried out the weighing and the driver of the vehicle, respectively another third party.
The company PROMET SLOVAKIA, s. r. o. respects the safety and therefore always archives such certificates of weight.

Means of transport of goods

The goods are delivered to the client:

· by road   · by railway

Quality of service

We apply strict selection criteria for shippers and carriers, where not only the price decides,
but especially reputation, personal experience and reliability.

We educate carriers in communication with a consignee, especially in the case of reproduction,
completion and submission of accompanying documentation to the consignee.
Documentation

We safely care of each consignment

Each consignment is accompanied by comprehensive documentation which we are able to re-send to the client electronically or by mail carrier. We willingly provide the client with information about the delivery status of the order by phone or email. Irreplaceable support provides us our own information system.

We like going green

Invoices are issued and sent to the client within 5 working days from the date of delivery. We value the environment and therefore we are ready to send invoices and delivery sales contracts electronically. We secure such documentation against misuse by a third party with electronic certificate.

  • Pig Iron

    Pig iron is the product obtained by melting iron ore with coke, limestone and other ingredients. It is produced in blast furnaces.

Service called Consignment stock

The company PROMET SLOVAKIA, s. r. o. offers a service of depositing of goods in the premises owned by the client
for the purpose of consuming of goods by the client in the future. The client consumes goods according to his needs.
The consumption occurs in the conclusion of the contract and the client has the obligation to pay the purchase price.

The company PROMET SLOVAKIA, s. r. o. prepares an invoice for the amount of consumed goods based on reporting
of consumption, which the client serves in regular intervals (e.g. at the end of each calendar week).
We currently serve consignment stock in Slovakia to 4 clients.
